Relations between Algeria and Italy are in excellent shape since the visits of the two Algerian and Italian presidents and the organisation of several meetings between both economic actors and these in several sectors: renewable energies, pharmaceutical industry and ICT.
ELCS RESEARCH Algerian’s startup and economic actor in the field of complex medical software engineering was invited to participate in the Algerian-Italian Economic Forum which took place on July 18-19 at CIC Algiers. The purpose of this meeting was to introduce the Italian participants to the various solutions developed by the company in the field of medical imaging, cardiology as well as the SmartHospital solutions, and marketed all over the world by the worldwide leader GE Healthcare. On the other side, our CEO, Mr. Mohamed Lotfi Moukneche, initiated discussions with the Italian group LEONARDO, a world leader in aerospace, by presenting Monadim AMS system, an aviation maintenance system developed from scratch by the company and offers multiple features that enhance both logistics and maintenance departments of civil and military aerial institutions.
In order to cover its local demand as well as that of African countries, Algeria, an important customer of LEONARDO Group, has started building an assembly factory of Augusta type helicopters based on Setif town.
